how come it was me? :part 2

struggling enough with myself, i decided to investigate the whole matter. so i gathered up myself and went out to search evidences for this incident. i had earlier checked my phone but there were no logs of me calling my friends few days back. it only showed the logs i had known of.

so i called up my friends and asked them to meet me. after meeting them i checked their phones and yes there were calls from me on the dates they had told. shocked, i told them what all has been happening till now. they certainly refused to believe. it was obvious, who would have believed. it seemed like total nonsense. though i had shown them my call logs too, but they believed that it could be deleted easily by me or anyone.

i asked them if they clicked pictures to which they replied yes. i checked and there were only a couple of pictures and that too were blurred. nothing was clear. on asking my friends told me that i would behave strange and would not allow them to click pictures and they too didn't had any idea how the pictures turned this way. those weren't unclear when taken.

now they also started to feel that something was wrong. with absolutely no clue of what was happening i returned to my home. i sat on the sofa while watching TV, all this while thinking that what was happening.

i even asked my parents. they showed me the call logs and it said the same story and they too found me strange during that period of time and told me that i was very upset regarding my career and even told them that i don't think i'll be getting a job. i explained them the same thing and they nodded in disbelief.

it was then when i decided to call up my friends in other town. i called my close friend in that town and told her what was happening. she was shocked to hear that. i asked her to send me all the pictures we had clicked together in the past few days. and also i asked her to check the dates of each picture, i.e. when were they clicked.

she did as i told and yes, the days about which my friends were telling me that i visited them, i was really in other town during those days. the pictures clicked with my friend in the other town were clear and were of the last whole week. and on those days when my friends claimed of seeing me, i was at Pizza Hut with my friend in the other town.

i knew it! - i exclaimed and told this to all my friends in my hometown. they were surprised to see my pictures. 

now the thing was, if i were with my friend in other town, who exactly came to meet them. though the pictures were not clear, still my home friends were having logs as a proof that i had called them earlier.

i began to think more rationally and logically, but no logic seemed to fit into the situation.

by now i have reached to only one conclusion that it must be my duplicate who reached my friends in the hometown. though funny, but still it's the only conclusion that makes slight sense.

but certain questions still remain unanswered- 

• if that person was my duplicate, where did she come from and why? 
• why were the pictures with my friends in hometown not clear?
• if that person was my duplicate, how can she call from my number to my friends and parents and in the very first place, how could she know my friends and even my parents?
• will that duplicate appear again?

i am still searching for the answers hoping that i will unsolve the mystery soon, somehow.
